The San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (SLORTA) was formed through a joint powers agreement (JPA) between the County of San Luis Obispo and each of the seven cities incorporated within the County (Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, El Paso de Robles, Grover Beach, Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, and San Luis Obispo) to provide intercity fixed route service and ADA paratransit service throughout San Luis Obispo County. The following services are provided by SLORTA.

RTA fixed route service offers connections to local transit services provided by North County Shuttle, San Luis Obispo Transit, RTA-SCAT, and Santa Maria Area Transit.
SLO Regional Rideshare offers individualized trip planning as well as information on transportation alternatives.
